Website Hosting
|
ZSD have webservers live on the Internet day and night. Space is
available to host your private or commercial home page. We offer a
range of options.
All of our commercial hosting packages offer the following:
- Ftp access to upload pages
- Statistic report, updated daily, viewable via a password protected page
- Access to raw log files, if you wish to do your own analysis
- CGI scripts for forms to e-mail pages and counters
- Support for user controlled password protection for private pages
- Optional PHP scripting, ASP scripting and MySQL database support
- Full technical support from our helpline

In addition to commercial hosting, we offer free non-commercial websites to all
of our single user dial-up customers. These can be used for private personal use.
The URL of these pages is of the format http://users.zsd.co.za/~username. No
statistics are provided and technical support is limited.

Physical Servers
|
The ultimate hosting solution is to have your own
physical server, hosted on ZSD's premises, under
your direct control.
- You provide the hardware, software and licences
- We provide the rackspace, power and bandwidth, screens
and keyboards.
- We are happy to host mini-tower PC's as apposed to
rackmounts.
- We will do all we can to assist you, that does not
require logging on with a password.
- With an optional first line support contract, we will
log on and perform operations as per your instructions.
- You can access your server during office hours, by
appointment.

We can host mailing lists to enable you to e-mail your
clients efficiently and reliably.

Domain Registrations

ZSD can register .co.za, .com, .net, .org, .org.za,.co.uk and .org.uk
domain names.
Domain names are registered to the end user, and thus you have the option
of keeping your domain name if you ever wish to change to a new ISP.
Please note domain registrations are subject to conditions and regulations
prescribed by the authorities responsible for each domain hierarchy.
